Jordan's a great and selfless guy who is driven to help his community through humour and fun. That's why he's a wonderful new addition to the Newsload team.
Whenever I work with new talent, gracious enough to lend their time and talent to the Newsload I always ask them to provide me with a bio and some links for this very blog. When I asked Jordan, this is what he provided...
Beginning his 30 year career at Yuk Yuks in London in the 90s, comedy has taken Jordan To California and Mexico and back again. His unique life and brand of storytelling offer a funny mix, from small comedy clubs to actually running for Mayor, Jordan has performed in front of some incredible audiences that have changed his life and perspective in various ways.
Jordan, and his business partner Dan Twist, started a company called Twisted Mint Entertainment. They provide event hosting and fun for organizations around London including the University of Western Ontario. Often they organize stand-up comedy events at local clubs to give local comedians an opportunity to shine. This is how I met Jordan and Dan and I'm happy to say we'll be doing some more 'Coming Comics' filmings soon.
As part of Jordan's involvement with the Newsload he's agreed to be the host for our new series "Arthouse Insider' and Co-host for our new show "Cinephile Confessions". Can't wait to share more of this content going forward. Thank you Jordan and welcome to the future of news.
