(Before you call us cheap corporate parasites - you know who you are - we're volunteer based and built by a guy working various other jobs to flip these bills. Newsload is about as grassroots as it gets. If someone would like to invest or sponsor it'd be easier to showcase this proof of concept. Until then it's all we can afford. We can't be everywhere. We don't know everything. We have limited visibility into the problems facing London and region. But YOU do. YOU can. That's why this program is for YOU. A grassroots way of getting YOUR views out there. Like speakers corner of old, we want YOU to become a citizen journalist, go where the news and/or newsmakers are and cover it/them for us.

And it's way easier than you think to have a short video accepted. Interview other folks in your situation. Tell us your situation. Find a recent news story that touches on what you're talking about and submit your short with a link to it. It's that simple.

Do you have a phone with a camera? Editing is great and will improve your chances. Saying "reporting for Newsload shorts" does as well to be frank. But NUMBER ONE - we're looking for important news. Content and authenticity is king. Work on delivery so you use every bit of that 60 seconds to make us laugh, make us cry, make us kiss our $$$ good-bye.
