Newsload Correspondent Carrie Anne Stephenson, along with THE CRAZY CAT LADY, visited Vertical Air in London Ontario, to try out some pole dancing, acrobatics and much more.
Things turned out... um. great. No really, really great. In any case, through no fault of Vertical Air, it was an... experience. THE CRAZY CAT LADY has really been trying hard to work on herself. Luckily she did have an ace up her sleeve...
Vertical Air is located at 1490 Richmond St, in the old Windemere school. A great repurposing of that dynamic space Vertical Air and The Academy have taken over the gym and surrounding offices.
When we arrived it was fun to get the tour from Meaghan Wegg & Tim Buckley, a husband and wife team who had previously worked with Cirque du Soleil.
As Carrie Anne interviewed Tim, The Crazy Cat Lady got to try some of the fun programs with Meaghan instructing. Afterward, she was of course amazing at all of them and came away a skilled acrobat. True Story.
Later we met Shaidon Woods who was kind enough to give the Crazy Cat Lady a pep talk in order to get her through some of the tougher events.
Thank you everyone at Vertical Air for welcoming us and very much looking forward to working with you all again!
